Appeal of the Polish nation to the citizens of Europe and the World for help.
On April 10th 2010 Polish President along with the First Lady and 94 top government officials died in Smolensk, Russia, in a plane crash on their way to comamorate the 70th Anniversary of the 1940 slaughter of some 21,000 Polish officers in the Katyn forest by the Soviet Secret Police. Among the passangers of the TU-154M flight were the Chief of the Polish Staff, Senior Military Officers, President of the National Bank of Poland, the deputy Foreign Minister, Senior Members of the Polish Clergy and relatives of the Katyn massacre victims .
The causes of this tremendous tragedy of the Polish nation must be thoroughly researched and accounted for both for the sake of the security of Poland as well as European region.
Our one and only postulate and wish is to appoint an independent international probe to find causes of the plane crash.
We also appeal to all the people of good will worldwide for their support of this matter.
